VARS at BISFE 2024
VARS Aquaculture participated as an exhibitor at the Busan International Seafood & Fisheries Expo 2024 (BISFE 2024) from November 6–8, 2024. The event took place in Exhibition Center I at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea. BEXCO was the venue; BISFE was the exhibition that brought seafood, fisheries, aquaculture, equipment, and international trade professionals together.

What VARS presented in Busan
The official exhibitor listing highlighted three core areas of our portfolio:
- Artemia cysts for dependable hatchery live-feed programs
- Salmon eggs for international hatchery supply
- Fresh Chlorella, including concentrated live-feed solutions for rotifer production

Why BISFE mattered
BISFE connects Korean and international businesses across seafood products, aquaculture equipment, processing technology, marine biotechnology, and buyer meetings. For VARS, taking part created a direct setting to introduce our hatchery inputs and discuss supply requirements with professionals in the Korean and wider East Asian markets.
South Korea remains especially relevant to our work in hatchery inputs and olive flounder aquaculture. The Busan exhibition gave our team an opportunity to present the product categories we support and learn directly from the region's seafood and fisheries sector.
